Hi my name is Michael A. Hudacko
I was born at the Meadowlands Hospital in NJ, in 1996. I was born and raised by my very loving family in Bayonne NJ. At the age of 6, I moved down the shore to set off on a new and exciting life. After the first year of living in West Creek NJ, I always saw the older people riding down my street to go to the pit on Thomas Ave. on a dirt bike or an ATV. My dad saw the expression on my face when they would pass by. So one day he went out for a ride in his truck. I found out later that he had picked up a new Pw 50cc and a Ttr 90cc. Then my parents built a little track in my back yard to ride on.
After riding my pw 50 till I was around 7 or 8 years of age I went to my sister’s Ttr 90, it was very tall for me because of my lack of height, I was the short person out of a family of tall people. After a couple times of doing practice on a race track in Atco NJ, I pulled a 7th out of 15 people on a trail bike, not a real race bike. So after a good couple times racing I got a Kx65cc. It was the fastest bike ever, since I was new to the power band and clutch. After a successful year of riding I pulled a 4th for the year in 65(10-11) at Atco NJ. Then I got a 2nd overall in Atlantic Grand Prix for the year, missing 1st place by 5 points. After my 9th year of riding I got a Kx85 for my 13th birthday. After practicing on my 85 all the time at a track called Chatsworth ORVP, I blew up the 85.
I then switched back to my stock 65cc and was on my 65 practicing on the big track with 250’s and 450’s when I overshot a table top and swapped ends and lost control of my bike and fell … HARD! I later found out the bike crushed my Tib and Fib against the ground and snapped it right below the knee cap. Did I mention it happened on Memorial Day, what a way to start the summer, and the ’08 season!!! So the next day I went in for surgery to align the Tib and Fib back into place. Well that didn’t work!!! So 5 surgeries later it was aligned and x-rayed over and over again for 11 months not to mention I wasn’t walking or doing anything but homework.
After a year I was back to riding. Now I am trying to make it to Loretta Lynns and a 2011 National Ranking. My goal to make it to race in an AMA Monster energy event. It’s a long road but I am lucky to be surrounded by family and friends that support me.
